Patricia Ariza

Patricia Ariza is a Colombian poet, playwright, actor and activist known for her work in theater and human rights. She co-founded Teatro La Candelaria, a pioneering experimental theater group in Bogotá. Ariza's work often focuses on social justice, women's rights, and the memory of Colombia’s armed conflict. In 2022, she was appointed Colombia’s Minister of Culture.
